Customs has its Access to Public Information Office
SANTO DOMINGO. – The Customs Agency (DGA) on Thursdays inaugurate its Access to Public Information Office, to guarantee the citizens’ right to seek information on the work of Customs officials, as Law 200-04 stipulates for all Government agencies and organisms.
Customs director Rafael Camilo said the Office reveals Customs’ adherence to transparency.
He affirmed that all citizens have the right to follow up on the activities of government officials, who in his view are society’s representing, “and have to conduct themselves as if they live in a house of glass.”
